I was a dental assistant for nine years, until I decided it was time for a career
change. I spent months thinking about what I wanted to do.  First and
foremost I wanted to work with animals.  So after doing a lot of research I
made the decision to become a Certified Pet Groomer.  I went to school and
started a business right away.  This is my second grooming business, the
first one just got too big, too fast.  It was hard for me to do so much in little
time and I couldn't be everywhere to make sure things were getting done to
my liking.  So I decided to sell the existing business, take Valerie on as a
partner and go small again.  This way we could get back to what is
important and that is "your pets!"  So here we are, and I hope you will give
us a chance to give your pet the best experience possible!
VALERIE SIMMONS

I have always had a life long love for animals. My dad wanted to train leader
dogs, but never pursued it, so I inherited dogs from him and loved every
minute with them.  I have a BS in Wildlife Science from Purdue and started
my career out as a zoo keeper. I spent 5 yrs doing that and decided it was
time to try something new.  The next 7yrs, I was a Veterinary Assistant,
specializing in behavior, until choosing to stay at home with my daughter
and build my photography business. Yearning to again work with animals, I
became a certified pet groomer and the rest is recent history.



Your dogs are treated as if they were our very own.  In our households
dogs are our children.  Actually,we do not call them dogs, they are "the
kids". And boy, they are spoiled!  Your dog will be treated with the same
love, caring and respect that all animals deserve.
